Extra costs for Kabel Internet

Hi Vodafone Community,

 

We have an issue that I need support from you!

We have moved in February 2022 to a new flat and we had made the request to vodafone to change our existing contract to the new address.  We have received the confirmation that the internet will be available and  connected in the new address and we will be charged around 40 euros for this ´Umzug´ service, which we are willing to pay.

The problem is that we were waiting for the internet to be connected and we called  Vodafone several times and we got completely different information from each agent that we talked.

We got the information finally that one technician would come to activate the connection here, however, nobody came .

Instead of that, we have received a call from Keding (third party company) informing that in order to have internet here, we will need to make an extra contract with Keding, and pay 17.90 euros per month.

Nobody gave us any solution to fix our problem and one agent told us that we should be responsible for knowing if we need to pay extra fees to have internet, another agent, however, said we should only talk with Vodafone and we should not pay any extra fees for activating the internet. We still dont have internet and we dont have a solution for that.

We dont believe that a company well known as Vodafone should treat customers like that.

We have made a contract with Vodafone and we strongly believe that Vodafone should be capable of finding a solution for our case.

Any response with a fair solution is really appreciated by us.

Hello Taisber,

 

you will have to sign a contract with the company to enable the connection and use the Internet. A technician from us will not be able to do anything. I'm sorry, but we have no influence on this.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, we didnt know we would need to pay extra in order to have the internet in the new address.

Is it possible Vodafone for good will change our contract to DSL? We dont want to have a contract with a third party company and this would be the best solution for us to keep the internet with Vodafone.

if your property management has chosen a different operator for the basic supply, unfortunately we cannot influence this.
