Performance too low

I have upgrade my cable internet from 500M to 1000M, and I received the new modem, I have changed the new modem, the performance dropped down to 1M downloading, 0.25M uploading.

It looks like the new modem isn't activated yet.

thanks, appreciate the answer, I have changed back to old modem. continue to use 500M downloading speed. I didn't pay more money, so I'm not so care about when the 1G will be activated. just wait and see.

Just wait until the old router stops working. Then the new router should have been activated.
