Terminate direct debit

I want to terminate Vodafone's right to direct debit payment from my bank account as soon as possible. I should be able to do it on my account, but the webpage does not allow me to uncheck the statement that gives Vodafone the right to direct debit payment. Can I please get help with this?

Why do you want to withdraw the permission to debit us? What happened?

Thank you for your message. I just have my own reasons for wanting to withdraw permission. Any future payments that I accrue can be sent by manual bank transfer. Can you please withdraw my permission for Vodafone to automatically direct debit any payment from my bank account? Can you please also let me know when this is done? Thank you very much in advance!

I'm not sure that is true. 3 years ago, moderators on this platform had no problem setting my account to ALLOW direct debit. I don't see why the other way should not work.

We don't offer 1to1 support here in the forum for over a year now. Therefore, unfortunately, this is no longer possible.
