Hi,

 

I ordered Vodafone DSL internet connection on June 17 and I was given July 6 as the date of setup. A technican was about to visit my place to do the setup. On 6 July (yesterday) nobody showed up and after having number of worst experiences with their customer care during different calls inquering why nobody came and when my internet would work, I got to know that next appointment is 20 July. 

 

Now have a couple of questions:

1. I have already setup the wiring and all that stuff, the problem is that service is not yet activated from their end. See attachments. If they can activate, most probably nobody need to visit. I write this in emails to sales manager but I didn't get any reply.

2. Can I cancel the contract now? If yes, how? 

 

They asked me about the name of previous tenant because then nobody would need to visit. I sent it immediately but they still say someone would visit for setup. As I already have one experience and I am reading reviews on TrustPilot, I am not very sure if they would make it even on 20 July.

 

It's really hard to deal with them because first of all they have only hotlines and not email addresses (except those of sales managers which never replies) where expats like me can properly explain the problem.

I am sorry that the activation of your DSL connection did not work.

 

If you have received the information from us that the technician is visiting you, remote activation is not possible.

 

The revocation is possible within 14 days after receipt of the cancellation policy. You can find these in our welcome letter. A revocation is only possible if the contract was concluded online or by telephone.
