Connected to FRITZ Box 7530 but no internet

Our Fritz box is setup through DSL we are managing to connect to it but no internet connection.

Have been trying for days now and still no luck! Tried to call the hotline but no option in English.

Has your connection already been activated by a telecom technician?
And did you then set up the Fritzbox with the notified MIC (modem installation code)?

Hi,

Yes, a telecom technician has come to activate it and when I try set up the fritzbox with the MIC I keep getting an error of "Timeout during configuration"

I'm sorry for these difficulties. Please try the device setup without MIC. So classic with username & password. Each for telephony and internet. Does this work?

It looks as if the Fritzbox is not or not correctly connected to the telephone socket. Of course, the cable could also have a defect.
