Hello,
I've ordered a new connection online on Aug 1st, 2022 and selected Sep 1 as the connection appointment.
But whenever the status is checked, I see the option, 'Der Auftrag befindet sich in der technischen Bearbeitung, wir warten möglichweise auf Rückmeldung von Lieferanten.'
I already received a document which contains the order number and details. But no information about the device being sent or anything similar.
What can be done now? At the moment, I'm not sure if the connection request is already in progress or not.
Any help is appreciated.

from what you write it seems that we have not yet got the "All clear" for your line.
When you order a DSL connection, we request an activation date from Deutsche Telekom.
They own the main part of the technical DSL infrastructure and are responsible for technically connecting your home.
To finally see clear here, it's best you connect the service team at one of channels listed as follows:
