Hello,
I'm sorry that I write in English but I do not speak fluent German.
In November 2018, I requested to cancel my internet and mobile phone contracts with Vodafone, because in December that year I moved to Ireland. At the time, I was informed that I would still be required to pay the internet bill for an additional 3 months, and the mobile phone bill for an additional 12 months.
I recently discovered that there was a miscommunication with the internet cancellation and I was continuing to be billed. This is now sorted out thanks to a kind vodafone employee helping me, but I now want to make absolutley sure that there is no misunderstanding with the mobile phone contract. Can you please tell me: is it correct that my contract will be automatically terminated in January 2020? Or has there also been a misunderstanding there? Is there a possibility that I can terminate it earlier than that, which I would much prefer?
Thank you.

Hello murphyp7
we can't cancel your mobile contract before. The contract is cancel to the end of term in January 2020.
Best Regards
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,
Ok, thank you for letting me know. Just to confirm then: I do not need to do anything else (fill out any other forms, etc.), and in January the contract will be cancelled automatically? I'm sorry for insisting here but I have repeatedly been misled by vodafone employees in store, and I want to be absolutely sure.
Thank you,
Peter

Hi murphyp7,
the termination is already set for 2020. You don't need to do anything.
