Hello,
I recently opened an order for cable internet, the operation was smooth except the street number on the address is wrong.
Having noticed this pretty much immediately I tried then to call the general hotline but I couldn't understand what the automated message is saying because while my german skills are enough to sustain a 1 on 1 conversation, via phone it is almost impossible to understand anything, I tried for two hours with no success.
I went then to the vodafone shop that opened my order, the guy there had a ten minutes call with someone, then told me to call 08002787000 and that they would speak english. I called, the robot spoke german, by blind chance I managed to talk with someone that spoke a little english and told me to press "3" at the start of the call to change my address, I did but nothing meaningful happened, just more german talk from the robot.
I went then to another vodafone center that told me to go to the original shop and they would change it, when I told him that they didn't he said that I would need to do it myself then.
I also tried the secret keyword "operator" during the call with both the general hotline and the cable one when it seemed I needed to speak but nothing happened. I tried to get the guys from the vodafone shops to at least tell me the number sequence to get to an operator but they wouldn't tell me.
I'm pretty much out of options right now, is there any way to change the address or cancel the order without listening to a robot?
