Hi there,
My vodafone contract ended in Oct 2018, all dues cleared. I have left Germany long back.
This month I got bill to my email which states - "Charge for reconnection after blocking"
What should I make of this email?

I've found the answer to the riddle: Sometimes so-called intelligent systems are quite stupid. As so was our billing system in your case. ![]()
You can safely ignore the e-mail, the error lends here on our site.

Seems like you haven't paid an invoice in time...
Please check that you paid all your invoices.

I think you misunderstood my point. I have paid all dues/bills. This bill is for "Charge for reconnection after blocking". Why would I ask for reconnection when I don't stay there anymore?
Is it possible that new tenant asked to continue connection? Then why should they send invoice to me?

Again: Please have a look at all invoices if you really paid for all dues.
It seems that you have not paid enogh and/or there were open positions on your invoices...
And no, the new tenant can't ask for the connection to be reconnected/continued if he neither knows your customer number nor other contractual details. Especially if it was a cable connection, he cannot use your contract as long as he neither has your rental device (I hope you returned it in time) nor the customer number and activation code for activating his own retail device within your contract.
