Unwanted charges and abusive business practices

Hi,

 

I registered for the Vodafone-Kabel service in March at a Vodafone shop. For reference my Kundennummer is *.

When I registered I explicitly stated that I do not want any extra services or anything and the shopclerk assured me that was the case verbally.

I must state that my German is not good enough to go through a Vertrag, so I chose to trust the Vodafone personnel out of necessity which was a mistake obviously.

 

Last month, I noticed that I was being charged 3,99 every month for some Sicherheitspaket I never used.

I immediately cancelled it online on on December 11th and received the cancellation confirmation email.

Today I got the new bill, and it again has a Sicherheitspaket charge.

 

I am aware you probably made sure you are legally legally on the right, but if you have some business ethics return all the extra charges you got from Sicherheitspaket. I didn't ask for it and I was mislead and lied by your employee.

Also stop charging for it please, I already cancelled it, what more do you need.

Hello okaya1,

 

Cancellation of the security package is the right way to go if you do not want to use it. When was the cancellation confirmed to you? You will be charged for the security package on a pro-rata basis until this date. If necessary, the invoice will be corrected automatically and the overcharged amount will be credited to you again with the next month.
