Dear Vodafone Support,
I will move to a new address next week. I have made the moving service request to relocate my Kabel. However, I am not sure if the new address has a multimedia port for my router. The service finder says both 250 DSL and 1000 Kabel are possible.
Could someone please find out what is possible and let me know how long the connection might take?

P.S. The initial email says, "Bevor es losgeht, brauchen wir dazu die Erlaubnis Ihres Hauseigentümers. Sobald wir sie haben, melden wir uns bei Ihnen. Das dauert etwa 3 Wochen."

as it looks like, we still have to clarify something with the owner at the address. You don't have to worry about that at first. Should an installation be necessary, we will take care of it. Please have a little patience.

Thank you for your reply.
Today I received a call from the local provider of cable TV saying that I need to take on a cable TV contract to have internet as there is no "communal" point in the house. I really do no wish to have to take on this contract, as well.
Could I switch my service to DSL instead?

for the installation of a cable internet connection we need the approval of kabelcom braunschweig. At the moment we are still waiting for a feedback. The process can take up to 3 weeks.
