Hallo. Leider kann ich nicht auf Deutsch schreiben... Auf Englisch. I informed Vodafone that I will move to a new flat. They told me that I can simply connect the modem at the new apartment and that I would have Internet there. I did this, and indeed I have Internet. So far so good. However, Vodafone said that I will have to pay 39.99 € for the service of changing flat. But, no employee from Vodafone did this. I did it. So I don't understand why I have to pay. Can anyone help me or give any advice on this matter?

the 39,99€ is the normal fee, if you move.  You can find the information on the Vodafone homepage. I have a photo for you. You find it, if you click on "mehr anzeigen" under this post. Its in german, so I will translate it: 

How much does a move of my cable products cost?

If you move with a Red Internet & Phone contract, we charge you according to price list once 39,99 €. The move will cost us. For example, by a technician use or because we assign a new phone number, if you move to another area code area.

You always pay this transfer fee if your address or location changes. So also, if you z. B. move within a house.

You only have a TV contract with us? Then your move will cost you nothing.

I still don't understand why I have to pay in my case (because I am moving within the same city, so the area code remains the same, as well as the phone number). But, at least I know better now.

Hello fedeconte,

this handling fee is always charged when you move with an Internet & Phone contract, as we incur costs for this. In some cases it is a bit more expensive and you have to hire a technician. Ines75 has already written this to you.
