Termination of contract

Hi,

I am an Indian student in Dresden and I am returning to my home country after completion of my studies. Due to this, I had to cancel my Red Internet and Phone Cable 400 contract. I have already received the termination confirmation from Vodafone but there is no date for the termination. On my online profile, the status says "in Bearbeitung" and I suppose that I have to show proof that I am leaving the city and the country. 

I leave to India in the first week of November and the city hall in Dresden told me that I can de-register only one week before my departure. I have already left my old apartment and I no longer use the internet. Is there some proof that I can show in order to complete my termination of the contract?

we need the deregistration to terminate the contract with a period of 3 months.

I have written another private message to you regarding the date of termination of the contract. I had already sent the request to terminate my contract on 30.08.2018 and I already received an email confirmation from Vodafone. However, the new termination date has been calculated from today (05.02.2018). I have given more information in the private message. Can you please have a look?

Hi arohith91,

the period begins with the day of the removal. According to the deregistration this was 07.11.2018 for you. It is not important when you report the move to us. only the day of the move counts.
