Dear Sir/Madam,
I am hoping that some kind soul will look at my email and help me.
My Kundennummer : ****
I have a contract from 7.07.2018 – 7.07.07.2020.
However, I have moved to Malaysia on 28.06.2019.
I have canceled my contract and returned the cable box duly.
I have also sent all the necessary paper work – which includes my deregistration papers from Germay to the vodofance office through a Vodafone shop in Leipzig city centre.
I understand that I have to pay for three months ( July, August and Sept ).
Now that I have paid for the three months. Can you please please cancel all the further bills.
I really would not like to pay for the rest of the year.
I don’t know who to contact. I have tried please help.

Hello P-Dinakaran,
when did you send the notice? A contract cannot be terminated immediately even if you move abroad. The Telecommunications Act provides for 3 months for this. This date applies from the date of the move or from the date of termination if the move is reported too late. We cannot waive these 3 months, a goodwill is not possible here.
As a proof for the move abroad and thus the non-availability, we need at least the new address. Have you communicated this?
