Hello,
Since I am relocating to another flat I would like to transfer the cable internet contract ownership to the person taking over my apartment. From various threads, i understand that this might not be possible.
The apartment I am moving to already has an active Vodafone connection, so I won't be able to use my connection there. I think the best solution for me would be to terminate my contract immediately according to the Telecommunications act. Please DM me so that I can let you know my details and the address of the apartment I would be moving in so that you can verify the existing Vodafone connection there.
I would like to clarify if I could continue using the internet until I am staying at my current apartment even if I terminated the contract as I would be paying for the internet for the next 3 months. Once I move I can return the router.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

Hello ambajule,
I have taken care of it and cancelled your contract. You will get a confirmation about it.
Do you have any questions?
Best regards

Hello ambajule,
in principle, it is possible to take over the contract. Is this an option for you and the new tenant?
If you want to cancel it instead, the following is important:
1. either the contract cannot be continued at the new address, because we do not supply the property.
2. there is already a connection from us (vodafone)
Best regards

Hello Tina,
Thank you for your response.
I got a piece of completely different information from reading another thread in this forum where it was clearly mentioned that it was not possible to transfer the ownership of the Vodafone cable contract to another person and now you are saying the exact opposite! Anyways, i asked the new guy taking over the apartment to get a new Vodafone connection already.
As I mentioned in my original post, the place i am moving over to already has an active Vodafone connection. Please let me know how I can proceed with the cancellation process.
Regards.

Hello Tina,
One example for me assuming that the contract transfer is not possible:
There are many threads like this.

Hi ambajule,
this thread is an older one. As Tina already wrote, it is, with exceptions, in principle possible to take over the contract.
Since that is no option any more, please send me a private message with the following information:
your name
your address (old an new)
date of birth
your customer number (old and new)
the link of this thread
Please reply here when you have sent the private message.
Regards
Stephan

Hello ambajule,
I still need the date of birth of the other contractual partner at the new address and your moving date. You don't want to take your contract with you and the other one at the new address should remain in place?
Best regards
Nancy

Hello Nancy,
Thank you for your reply.
I have made myself clear a couple of times already in this thread that I would like to cancel my existing contract as my new apartment already has a vodafone connection and my the new tenant in my previous apartment already got a new Vodafone contract. So, please cancel my existing contract at the earliest as i am paying for the internet without using it. I would highly appreciate it.
Also, I have sent the name and date of the birth of the person who took over my previous apartment to Stephan (direct message). Should I send the same details to you too?
Regards.

Hello Nancy,
I have sent you the details via a direct message. Please let me know if you need any further info.

Hello ambajule,
now comes a bit of confusion. I had asked you to send me the date of birth of our contractor to whom you move and had written to me. The name you have now sent me does not belong to the customer number you mentioned. When are you moving?
Best regards
Nancy
