My free months are inactive

Hi,

Recently I switched from another provider to Vodafone. I should be elligible for free months in Vodafone until my previous contract with the other provider runs out. I created a topic about that some time ago. I was given some help and supposedely my free months were to be activated. Unfortunately it's not true, I've received my first invoice and I've been billed for the first month of the service.

Do I not understand something or my free months are not active after all? Could somebody please explain or help me activate it?

Hi einberliner,

you've received a one-time credit for the period up to termination. The monthly fee and the provision fee are deducted from this amount.  Just have a look at the invoice in the customer portal.

Thank you for the response.
Are you referring to the "Gutschrift" position in the invoice? If so, then I have been credited one, yes, but that was supposed to be a joining bonus, independent from the fact that I'm switching from another provider or not. I'm not sure if this is it.

that's exactly the credit i meant. There is no bonus only the base fees will be credited for the period.

Sorry, but that doesn't seem right. When I was signing, this bonus was listed as part of the offer overview:

Online-Vorteil 70 €

Sie erhalten den Vorteil automatisch vom Anbieter als Gutschrift.

Auf einer der ersten Rechnungen, als Einmalbetrag.

And that's exactly what I got with the first invoice. That's great. But if it was to cover free months, it is too much to cover three months of the service I have left until my previous contract runs out, I believe it should be credited apart from the joining bonus and the amount would be different. Or maybe I'm still missing something?

sorry about my mistake. On the first invoice are the 70,- euro as credit at the beginning of the contract. The credit note for the monthly fee comes only with the next invoice. I had overseen that.
