Cancel my Kabel contract

I recently relocated from Hamburg to Berlin, I sent all the documents requesting to cancel my contract since I’m currently subletting and the main tenant already has a connection. Nevertheless I’ve received via e ail a new contract activated at the new address and a communication that a technician will call me.

Hi Sjdhdjiekfj,

 

if the Internet line can also be made available at the new address, the contract will be transferred to the new address.

 

In this case, you cannot cancel the contract prematurely due to a move.

Hi, 

 

in the apartment where I moved, the main tenant already has an internet connection in his name. How can it be possible to have the connection moved here? Are you suggesting there will be two internet connections in the same apartment? That doesn't sound correct to me.

please advice, the customer service replied to ask for a solution to the problem on the forum

Hello Sjdhdjiekfj,

 

is the existing connection a cable connection or any of Vodafone's at all? If so, we will check it out. If not, then it is not important and the contract will not be terminated prematurely.

The WiFi name is KabelBox-8328 and I remember seeing the cable, so I’m sure it’s a cable connection. I will look this evening. Can you tell me what other information do you need so that I can gather it?

the modem is a sagemcom f@st 5460 and given the ip address it's defenitely Vodafone

we are examining this. Send us your name, address, customer number and date of birth. We also need the moving date and the new address. If a cable contract already exists there, we need the name, address and customer number of the contract holder of the other contract.
