Billing is higher than usual

Hi, I have recently moved back to my country, because of this I had to make a special cancellation of my contracts and I was told that I had to pay 3 extra months after my contract cancellation date. The problem is that even thought I have sent the router back 1 month earlier and stopped using the contract because I had to move earlier. Instead of taking a discount,  my last few bill invoices are much higher than usual.  I need to speak with someone that speaks English to clear out this situation. Please help me. I hope I will find a solution here so I don't need to cancel and redraw the payments and proceed with a lower. Thanks in advance

So basically there is no solution for me. I have to pay for the last 3+1 months that I am not using.. even more than when I was.

Hi Iordanis,

the months are payable either way. With the order confirmation we have already informed you that the contract costs more from the 13th month and you can downgrade it. So this could have been done already. As already written, i can do the downgrade. But there is no guarantee that it will run systemically without the hardware.

Of course I wanted to downgrade it, I didn't because of the termination, I thought I could not since I was terminating the contract. I still want to downgrade and save some money if the termination will stay valid. I will not use it so I don't care about stability or anything. I just want to save money now until December that the contract and payments are finishing which I am forced to pay. I want to pay as little as possible till December which is the termination of my contract. That is what I want and please help me do that. I don't mind the how. I just want to proceed asap.

Hi Iordanis,

i set the downgrade. There is no guarantee that it will work and the price will change. I have told you the reasons for this.

Hi

Hi again, I was checking again my contract, just in case, so I can avoid future problems again, and I noticed that there is no termination for it, as it supposed to. instead is valid till next September. This month (December) supposed to be the last forced month that I have to pay. The router was sent and also successfully returned back to the company, (since I am not living in the country anymore )please check it out. This will be my last payment. I already paid more than I should because of others mistakes, there is no chance to accept paying anything more. Thanks in advance for your help

Keep in mind that you are still within the 3-months period, so you'll have to pay all the fees until this period is over (which -if I got it right- means the 29th of December). Depending on your invoice cycle, it might be that there'll be another (partial) invoice in January for the last days of December, that you definitely have to pay.

Main thing: Just sending back the router doesn't cancel the contract (neither the "normal" way nor in case of a move to a non-serviceable address like in a foreign country) - there needs to be a written cancellation notice that is received by Vodafone before the contractually agreed notice period ends -or- you'd have to report a move. If moving, the contract will -in accordance with the telecommunications act- end with a 3 months notice period starting from the day that your movement report has been received but the earliest from the date of your move (according to official documents like the deregistration notice, that you'd have to supply as proof).

So if your movement request was received by Vodafone on Sept. 29, the 3 months would start from that day - even if you moved out of Germany before and sent back the hardware earlier.

Thanks for your reply. I clearly understand all these. I already know and agreed that I will pay till 29th of December,  which was the plan from the beginning. I am writing to you again just because I wanted to make sure that my termination is valid and will not be an other mistake. Because as I already mentioned,  in my customer account just shows a reduced new contract that supposed to be valid till next September,  and I didn't see anywhere my termination agreement .I just wanted to make sure that everything is in order that my payment obligations are still only till the 29th of December. Thanks
