Have restored and restarted my router countless times, have it exchanged once nothing helps...
Anyone at Vodafone have heard that it’s 21 century and that they should change the routers that are at least 2-3 years old, not a decade old ?... ( of course normal company wouldn’t use even 2-3 year old routers but here we are speaking about Vodafone )
P.S how smart are the workers at Vodafone if they gave me an router that has 100mb connection ( Ethernet ) to my 400mb data plan ?....!!!!!!
Will someone fix this issue ?!!!

P.S
The speed on 2.4 band is unusable and the only way I get any usable speed, on 5 band ( close to the one I’m paying ), is by fixing all the default settings, and no I haven’t messed it all up because of change of settings, because the problems persisted from the day 1....

Hi fotoramic,
we're already talking about the contract you just moved to or another one? There is currently a 200er bandwidth available. How is the connection via LAN?
Best regards
Lars

The lan is awful but at least a bit more stable ( not stable, just a bit better than WiFi )
And if I’m not wrong then router supports only 100mb lan , that’s just Vodafone that offers 200mb net and makes me pay for that but gives a decade old 100mb router 🙂

Hi fotoramic,
the modem supports Gigabit through LAN. It seems like the connected Hardware doesn't or the connected cable doesn't. Did you replace that for a test?
There are over 40 WiFis in your direct neighbourhood. That's the reason why there is a bad connection with 2,4GHz. You should use 5GHz in this case.
Kind regards
Marco

Hi fotoramic,
there some WiFis with same SSID, f.e. the Hotspots. From your experience we should replace the router for free. Is that okay for you?
Kind regards
Marco

So the router already was exchanged previously and nothing was fixed with that. Maybe the problem is that we have a bit to much devices in our household but even the cheapest peace of **** should be able to work with around 20 devices.
You don’t have a updated version of this router?, one that works and doesn’t have to be exchanged all the time ?... Because just wasting mine, you’re and other people time with exchange just to get the same problem again isn’t the best idea in my opinion...

Hi fotoramic,
at this moment there are exactly 26 WiFis (2,4 and 5GHz combined). There were 44 on the previous check. Your modem alone emits 4 WiFis
However when we did replace the modem in the past an the WiFi did not change to better quality, there is nothing we can do at this point. It is a standard-modem with regular performance. If you want a better WiFi you can use your own router instead of the given one or you can use a router behind the bridged cable-router as WiFi-accesspoint.
Kind regards
Marco
