New connection not working after first day

I got a new Vodafone connection on 17.09.2018 (two days back). A technician from Telekom came in the morning for configuring the physical connection and I configured my router "FRITZ!Box 7430 (M)" in the evening. Everything was fine (internet was working).

However, on the next day (18.09.2018 ) I found the DSL light of the router is blinking. I tried restarting and reconfiguring the router. But the problem still remains.

In the router logs it shows entries like "Training DSL connection" (I don't remember exact wording).

I tried calling the hotline, but wierd enough, the guy said (in German) he knows English but he is only allowed to speak in German (I understand German a very little bit). So I asked in English then he replied in German (which I partially understood). Somehow he said I should call a different number (0800 1721212). When I called it, I always get the automated guide and I don't how to pass through .

I feel really helpless. I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this .

I'm sorry that your DSL conection is not working right now.

Please check all cables and the phone socket for obvious malfunctions. Then go to https://www.vodafone.de/hilfe/alles-zum-netz.html and check your phone number for known outages in your area.
