Technician did not come

Hi,
I have signed a contract with vodafone for vdsl50. A technician was supposed to come today. But to my surprise he did not come and I got an sms that asks me to book another appointment. I requested an appointment with the help of local vodafone shop. But I still did not get any confirmation. Is this not quite weird?

I'm sorry that the appointment did not work at the first try.

As soon as the new appointment has been confirmed by Deutsche Telekom you will receive a confirmation via SMS.

This can take up to 24 hours.
