New DSL Customer - No Internet Connection

I am new to Germany and only speak English - sorry!

I was suppsoed to have internet setup (DSL) on this past Wednesday 4/3/20, but no technician ever showed up during the time alloted. I'm under the impression that maybe they just had to turn the line on from the outside? I received no confiirmation that this was done. I tried setting up the modem myself and got everything installed correctly and followed the directions to put in the modem code. I am able to get to the fritz.box website while on the wifi and it shows that I have DSL connection. However, my ipv4 and ipv6 are "nicht verbunden". Both the DSL and Power botton are conitnuiously lit green. 

 

A technician is shceduled to come again in another week and a half but I want to get this figured out and running ASAP. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Forgot to mention, I have a FritzBox 7530AT.

Hey BG23,


if your dsl led is constantly glowing green the router should get a dsl signal.
If you don't get an ip adress, this is most likely due to a wrong modeminstallationcode.

I'm a bit concerned that you got a new appointment in more then 7 days from now.
This most likely implies that something went wrong with the activation of your landline.
Issues with your landline are normally fixed within 24 hours after the activation happend.
