DSL Contract - Moving abroad - Cancelling Contract

Hi,

I have a DSL contract with Vodafone which I would like to cancel since I've moved out of Germany in August and, obviously, I have no way of using its service.

I sent a letter, 2 months ago, stating that I would leave the country and that, as such, I would like to cancel the contract. However, just got a response saying that the contract would be terminated on Jun 2021 (the regular contract termination date).

I would like to know how should I proceed in order to cancel this contract ASAP given that Vodafone can't provide me the service in my new address (out of Germany). I have the ablmedung document proving that I left Germany.

You'll need to send a copy of the deregistration letter to Vodafone so that your cancellation request can be adjusted to 3 months beginning from either the day that you left Germany or that day that you requested the cancellation (the late of the two counts). So in either way, you'll need to pay at least till end of October - given that you left Germany on Aug 1st and that you initially informed Vodafone before that date...
