Assignment of the contract DSL

Hello,

In December of 2017 I sign the contract with vodafone for DSL internet. I moved out from that adress in june to different apartment, and I left the internet/router for the person who is still leaving there- my ex boyriend. In the middle of the september I'm moving out to my home country for good. Now I'm considering two options:

a) I will assign the contract for him (he agrees to that)

b) I will cancel the contract in general

Now I have few questions:

To assign the contract I need to fill out doc nr 297. What should I put under "kundennummer" of new "kunde" if he doesn't have this nr yet?

If I would have to cancel the contact then I should send my Abmeldung, and what else? In what time the contract would ended, whoud I have to pay sth or that?

I will be thankfull for any response 🙂

You can leave this field blank if the new customer doesn't have a customer number yet.

There already are numerous threads regarding this topic (using the board search can really be helpful - if it is done), hence in short:

 

  • Send your de-registration to Vodafone.
  • State that you wish to prematurely terminate the contract based on your leaving the country.
  • Wait for confirmation by Vodafone.
  • Return all and any rental hardware in due time.
  • Make sure that the monthly charge can be deducted from your account for the three months following the cancellation (as according to German Telecommunications Laws and Regulations).
