This morning I woke up to the red info light on my fritzbox 7539 and no Internet connection. I have spent 7 hours so far trying all the fritz and Vodafone troubleshooting I can find. I even went to a Vodafone branch, where they confirmed it was not a contract issue and so I must call tech support, which is very difficult for me with my poor German.
Now after troubleshooting the red light is gone, and the DSL and WLAN lights are on steadily, but there is no Internet coming through. After resetting my router to factory settings, I am receiving a provider PPPoE timeout error. Everything else about the router is functioning fine.
Any help with this is much appreciated, I work from home and have now already lost a full day of work 😕
