Contract cancelled, yet still active

Hello dear community,

 

I have a somewhat complicated issue. I had two contracts with Vodafone (GigaZuhause 1000 Kabel and GigaMobil S ohne Smarthphone). The former I had to cancel since I moved to a new flat which had already internet access. I went to a local store to try to cancel it where I got told that I need to send a letter be post to central Vodafone and describe the situation of why I want to cancel the internet cable. I did so, I did not receive any reply for months, however all running contracts from MeinVodafone disappeared (including the mobile phone). I went back to the local Vodafone store where I got instructed to send off the modem I got from them. I got a QR code I needed to use at the post office. I did everything as described and sent off the modem. No reply yet again. However, I still get billings from Vodafone. I tried to go back to the local store, I described the issue, and they need my Vodafone phone number to access client details. Unfortunately, I never used the SIM card and lost it during the move. 

Right now I am stuck, I don't know how I could get a replacement for my SIM card to be able to move forward with this issue. The customer support at the local Vodafone store claimed that my contracts are still active.

 

Any help is very welcome.

ein Umzug ist kein Grund einen bestehenden Vertrag zu kündigen

du hättest den Umzug melden müssen und nur wenn an der neuen Adresse kein Kabel-Internet verfügbar ist, kann der Vertrag vor Ablauf der Mindestvertragslaufzeit beendet werden

Und nein, rückwirkend wird der Vertrag nicht gekündigt! Nur so falls die Frage aufkommen sollte!
