Hi,

 

Sorry I have to write in English because I am not good yet in German.

 

I have just signed up with Vodafone about a month ago.  I notice a constant internet disconnection.  This week, it got to the point that I could not work anymore for almost half a day (work form home), and my boss is getting upset already.  I am just afraid if this continues, it will cost me my job.  

 

Is it possible to terminate the contract earlier because I just don't get a consistent internet service.

No, early termination is not possible. You have to report a malfunction so that the technicians can fix your connection.

I already reported the problem and they say they will fix it.  It has been 7 hours now and still no solution.  My problem is that I need to rely on the internet connection for my work.  This happens twice already in a week.

 

Who will pay for the money I lost because I am unable to work???  And why I cannot terminate the contract since I am not getting the service I paid for?  To me this looks like a big scam.

You have to be a little patient. It can take up to 48 hours for a technician to contact you to make an appointment if the problems cannot be solved remotely.

But 48 hours of no internet connection also means 48 of no work for me.  This is simply not acceptable.  If only I knew how poor the Vodafone connection is, I would not have stayed with Telekom.

Hallo Tina,

I have now Internet connection again.  But I have to highlight that I was not able to work yesterday because I had no internet (I lost money and my boss was mad).  I am now afraid that anytime this problem happens again because this has happened already 2x in a week.  This is why I am asking if I can just simply cancel the contract because I cannot work with unreliable internet connection.

I live in Aschaffenburg area.  The ticket number was ***

Also just to add, why when I was with Telekom, I had zero downtime, or atleast for a few minutes only.

Is the infrastracture of Vodafone not that good that's why it keeps having problems?  What is the main problem why there is a regular downtime?
