Contract Termination and unsolicited Umzug process

Dear Vodafone team,

 

I terminated my contract some months ago (I explained that I was moving to another address and that I did not want to continue with the contract, that I don't mind paying what is left of the contract upfront and send back the modem, but that I wanted my contract terminated). My Kündigungsstatus is "in Bearbeitung".

Then you asked me for my new address, and I gave it. Now I see a new Rechnung where you charge me Umzugs kosten, even when I explicitly said that I don't want Vodafone service in my new place. You charged me this concept without my consent. 

 

Please, I ask your help to know what I must do to close this contract for good, and to get my money back for an Umzug bearbeitung I never requested.

normally you have a contract with a minimum term of two years. After this first two years you are bounded allways one year if you do not change or terminate the contract. 

 

If you move, your contract moves with you if technically possible - even if you dont want it anymore. If you have a contract with a period of validity, you have to pay for that time. The only reason to terminate before the end of period is, that the contract is technically not possible at the new adress. In this case you can terminate the contract 3 month after moving. This is a regulation by law. 

 

Interesting are two questions...

1. Is your contract possible at the new adress? 

2. If not, did you send a re-registration from town hall to prove, that you moved?

Understood. I don't know if a cable contract is possible at my new address. The flat has already internet service contracted with Vodafone. As for your second question, I have not sent the receipt of Anmeldung. What would it be for?

 

I would like some clarity: someone to tell me that the termination has been processed and that it won't autorenew. Right now, in MeinKabel, it only says the Kuendigung status is "in Bearbeitung".

 

Please, can you confirm that my contract (Kundennummer: ***) has already programmed for termination?
