Hi
I called today to terminate the contract since last 1 week I dont have internet. In the mein vodafone page it said I coulld cancel the contract with today's date (05.11.2021).
Now instead of cancelling and resolving my problem, they changed the plan to 'Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable' from "Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable". I never requested this. And now my contract's next cancellation date is 05.10.2023.
I never requested this . I am cheated here. This is fraud. I need it to be reverted immedailtely and contract cancelled.

Submit a revocation to the email address given in the cancellation policy so that at least your previous tariff is restored.
You cannot cancel by phone, which (still) requires the written form, either via the contact form in MeinVodafone or a letter, in the area of Vodafone West (North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Baden Württemberg) an email is also sent.

If you carry out a revocation, the original contractual status will be restored. You can no longer terminate the contract on November 5th, 2021, as the period of notice is 3 months at the end of the term and the contract has thus been extended by 12 months, but no later than November 5th, 2022. Possibly. it will be possible earlier with the TKMoG from 01.12.2021, but only a mod with access to your customer account can tell you that with certainty.
Please note that a cancellation is only possible within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation policy (part of the order confirmation). So I would submit it very quickly.

My original 2 year contract ended on April 2021. So I had notice period of 1 month after April. Any day I could terminate and then the 1 month ntice period starts, until they change my plan and contract on 5th Nov.
Could you please elaborate TKMoG ?
Anyways, I submitted the contract cancellation request again on 6th. Nov mentioning my new contract. And they haven't the grid outage eveb after 8 days. So I am eligible for termination under exceptional circumstances, right?

No, you still have a notice period of 3 months and the contract is extended by 12 months. That will not change until December 1 of this year with the Telecommunications Modernization Act (TKMoG) and only for contracts that expire thereafter. So in your case, the current minimum contract term ends in April 2022 and from then on you can cancel on a monthly basis.

the contract has already been revoked. The 500 Mbit rate is back with the original term.
