Wrong cable delivered with the router

Hi there,

apologies for writing in English, my Deutsch is not very good.

I've received a package from VF an hour ago, and after opening it with the idea of installing the router, I saw the cable which looked odd at first glimpse. Turns out it was wrong as it does not fit the router, the adapter nor the wall socket. This seems to be the wrong cable for the router / connection. The cable that I've got in the package is DIN EN 60966-2-7.IMG_20211124_180605 (1320 x 990).jpg Any advice? Thanks

What kind of router, wall connector and adapter do you have ?

Router is TG6442VF.

The connector on the wall is the same as on this adapter delivered in the box.IMG_20211124_225942 (990 x 1320).jpg

The cable is only plugged on - even if there is a screw thread.

It does not fit. I've tried with more then reasonable amount of pressure, it does not get into the socket in the wall, does not go into the adapter, nor it goes into the router. When you think it goes it, it wobbles around and falls of.

I've never used this kind of a connector on a coax, even though I've connected dozens of routers/switches.

These are F-Quick compression plugs (is not screwed, but only plugged on) for F sockets. The plug was developed for use on highly shielded connection cables for cable modem and HD receiver.

Found a cable that fitted.

Thank you very much for your prompt responses.

This is now resolved.
