TV Contract needed for Internet??

Hello, 

Last October I moved to Germany and took over the Internet contract from my landlord (Comfort 60). 

Last week I received a letter from a local company saying that I needed to have a TV contract with them in order to continue enjoying my internet with Unitymedia. Has anyone heard of this? And is it true, or can I safely ignore it? 

If it's true it contradicts what is said on the website...

Any info would be appreciated.

Welcome Lexenator,

if a so-called NE4 operator is responsible there in the house then this statement is correct. You can find out from the owner or from Unitymedia itself.
