Internet connection speed too slow

Hello,

 

I live in 10557 Berlin, and altough I'm paying for the most expensive 1Gbps subscription my speed is 40Mbps download and 5Mbps upload (this is according to Vodafone's speedtest, I am not even trying a 3rd party one).

Speedtest ID: pqqnr7crxx9f 
Providers: Vodafone GmbH 
 
I have tried multiple times to call and speak to someone in English but that is not an option it seems.
 
This has been happening for at least 2 weeks now and it is totally unacceptable as I can not do my job properly. This is a breach of contract from Vodafone.
Is there anyone I could speak to? I have done all the possible tests, including the very famous one: unplugging the router and plugging it back in.

Hi Moni,

 

I've sent you the details via PM. I ran tests these days - still the same 50Mbps download, 1Mbps upload, while I am paying for 1Gbps. I have also tested by connecting via cable directly to the router.

 

Everyone in my apartment building is complaining about this and everyone is moving to Telekom, which is most likely what I will have to do as well as I can't do my job properly with this connection.

A technician should take a look at this on site. Would that be okay and will the colleague come with you to the house system?

Under which phone number can the colleague make an appointment with you?

Due to the current developments we have to take certain precautions. Therefore, we need to know if there are any symptoms in your household that could be related to Covid-19. Of course we don't want to offend you, but on the other hand we don't want to endanger more people unnecessarily.

Looks like my last reply didn't make it through.

 

I would like to cancel my subscription, I can not work under these conditions and I don't trust Vodafone will be able to fix it. I've already sent the cancellation form once.

 

I have attached the details of how bad my conneciton is. Please let me know when my cancellation request will be processed.

Hi Tobias,

 

I've sent the details via the contact form twice, but got no reply. Today I went to a Vodafone shop and they literally laughed to my face and said I can't end my contract until 2022.

 

I'm happy I'm paying for lawyer insurance, but this is a joke really. I don't think I've ever been treated like this for a service that I am paying for.

 

I've attached an updated file with more speed tests, so other can see how at Vodafone you pay for 1Gbps, but get 50Mbps.
