SEPA failed due to insufficient funds

Hello,

  My SEPA direct debit has failed this month due to insufficient funds in my bank account. Sorry, this was a mistake because I did not realize there was not enough balance in my account. How can I rectify this situation? Is it okay if I pay the bill for this month by a bank transfer? If yes, please tell me the format (any message to be included in the transfer) and IBAN to which I should send the money.

Hi dlstudent,

 

normally we automatically try to debit another time in a few days. Only if it doesn't work the second time as well, the bank details will be deleted.

 

You can find the bank details and the reason for payment on the monthly invoice if required.

Hallo Lars,

  Thank you for your response! I have already transferred this month's fees to the IBAN mentioned in my rechnung. I have done this using another bank account. Hence, I request you to not debit any fees for this month only. From next month onwards, I will make sure that such a situation won't arises. 

 

If needed, I can also send you the proof of transfer details to your inbox/email. Please let me know!

Hi dlstudent,

 

the new debit would only be made around 01.05.2020. By then the transfer should already be assigned to your customer account. The flat rate for the return debit note in the amount of 4,50 Euro would be debited. Please feel free to contact us again at the end of next week here in the thread. Then I will see if the transfer is already there.

  Thank you for your response. The status at my end says that the transfer was successful. Could you please have a look and confirm? I have sent you the proof of the transfer as a private message. Let me know if you need any other details.

Hi Lars,

  I have received an email from Vodafone saying my trasnsfer was successful. However, they still asked me to pay this 4.5 eur penalty, even though I made the transfer myself before a return debit was attempted. Could you please clarify why one should still have to pay this additional penalty? Thanks

we have also incurred costs due to the chargeback. Therefore these fees are charged according to the price list.

Wegen Corona kann man jetzt auch beantragen, dass die Zahlung gestundet wird.
