I have cabel internet with you guys, recently upgraded from Red 200 to Red 1000 and got a Fritz Box. It doesn't work for me. I need to go back to a cabel modem in bridge mode with my network equipment. If you cannot support that with Red 1000, I need to know how to return to my Red 200 contract. Please advise.

Hi jmays5150,
you can put the cable router into bridge mode and use your hardware behind it. That's no problem at all. If that fits, I can arrange the exchange.

You can cancel the homebox option in the kundencenter, then they send the standard router.
Or you call the hotline to do it.

Hi, thanks for the responses. I escalated this with vodafone support, they informed me it would take a couple days. I'm not sure why. All I want to do is get my modem/network set up as it was before the change, if necessary reverting back to the old contract. We'll see how it goes.

Hi jmays5150,
sounds like you're not averse to using the new tariff. You only have to switch to a cable router instead of the Fritzbox.

Hope so, Thomas. If we get a cable modem capable of 1000 Mbps in bridge mode & everything works as before, I'll be very happy. If you can help expedite this process, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jmays5150,
we can stop the Homebox option and you will automatically get a cable router sent to you. However, 29,99 Euro will be charged once.

That sounds great, Thomas. Please confirm that I can put it into Bridge Mode as I had before, and then use with my own network router and wifi - again, as before. If you can confirm this, then let's proceed immediately.
Thanks again for all of your prompt help.
