My Internet is not working again . this is third time I am facing issue in last 2 months

Hi ,

My Internet is not working again , Nothing is changed but the Internet keeps disconnecting .

There are only 3 LED's ON on the MODEM the Fourth one is OFF .. This is third time I am facing issue in last 2 months .

Hello KCR,

please answer the following questions:

-How exactly does the fault become noticeable? (the more details we receive, the more precisely we can carry out a fault analysis)

-How is your device connected to the modem? (LAN; WLAN; additional router; PowerLAN)

-Do you have performance problems? Then do at least 2 speed tests (direct lan-cabling) at intervals of 4h to 6h using the following speed tester: https://speedtest.unitymedia.de/#speedtest_init

-Have you already performed a power reset (disconnect the device completely from power for a few moments)?

-Do all cables get stuck (even in the multimedia socket)? Are there any kinks in the cables?

-Have you already changed the lan or antenna cable?

-Which operating system do you have on your computer? (e.g. Windows)

-Please also check possible antivirus programs which can influence your internet connection.

-for Gigabit customers: Is your device designed for a Gigabit line?

-Which browser do you currently use? Please also tell me the current software version of the browser.
