Dear Vodafone team,
Thank you for your response to my request to lower my tariff. I would like to lower my tariff to Red Internet & Phone 50 Cable, but I do not agree to have my contract extended for another 12 months. I am currently in a 24 month contract, and at the start of this contract the Vodafone team member who set up my contract told me I could change the speed of my tariff at any point after the first year. I don"t believe it's necessary or fair to make me extend my contract beyond the end date of 03/08/2021. Please lower my tariff to 50mbps at 29.99 per month and leave my contract with the end date of 03/08/2021.

Hi bonniejtanz,
the follow-up period for the desired change is 12 months. So to get to the 24 months, you should have informed us shortly before the first 12 months expired. Then you could have made the change on 03.08.2020.
I am happy to help you with the desired changeover, but then only with the 12 month follow-up period. Would you like that or would you prefer to keep the current tariff with the corresponding term?

Dear Lars,
Thank you for your response. I find it misleading that the original vodafone team member who activated my contract was not clear about having to extend my cotract for another 12 months when I changed the cable speed. Nevertheless, I would like to lower my tariff and change the speed to 50mbps starting immediately.

thanks for your pm.
I changed your tariff to 50 MBit/s for 29,99 Euro per month. The change will be come effective today.
You'll get a confirmation via e-mail for that.
