First of all, I apologise for using English here because my German is not good and cannot cover this technical question so please bear with me![]()
I have signed a Kabel Deutschland contract with Vodafone on 03.02.2020, and after 3 days the router came and I set it up, after that the internet light immediately flashes red, at first at a slow pace and then it blinks faster.
I checked the user manual and found out that this state indicates that the router is trying to register itself on Vodafone server unsuccessfully.
When I signed the contract the staff told me that a technician will come to my house and wire everything up within 4 days but the technician never came.
Could you please arrange an appointment with a technician to help me find out what is going on? I'm mostly available next week so any day is ok but the sooner the better.

Thank you for your reply, but I really doubt it, before the technician left he told me he had a conversation with the Hausmeister about the cable in the building, the reason why the Hausmeister wouldn't let him change the wiring was because he was afraid that the technician would mess up the TV cables, and the Hausmeister actually had plans to renovate the whole building's cable wiring but the money wasn't there to invest on it. It's already been months and right now the cable inside the building simply doesn't work 😞
But yeah I will wait for a bit longer, I will reply here in a week, if by that time I still can't get internet access then I hope I can cancel my plan.
