(English) Giga TV contract cancellation

one sales representative visited our apartment, checking our internet status. 

When I complaint the low speed and poor connection, the sale representative said I could change my contract from 50 to 100. and he has bundle packgae for me, with Giga TV package. and of course, he will order new router for me.

However, after I agree this bundle package, I received the email notification from Vodafone of Giga TV contract only.

my internet contract didnt change at all, and system only showing TV box on the way.

2 days later, I received the TV box, but still nothing changed on my internet contract, nor new router order showing on system.

I am wondering if the sales representative was fooling me just to sign up for Giga TV contract, the internet thing just a lie.

so I returned the TV box, and trying to cancel the TV contract within 2 week.

 

I am not sure anyone have same situation could tell me if I should trust the sales representative wait for 2 weeks.

or just cancel the TV contract directly? 

and to Vodafone, how to cancel the TV contract?

Hello NicoleLin,

 

I don't know what you're talking about. Did you receive or sign documents and was the tariff change for your Internet & Phone contract included? You also no longer need to be annoyed and wait, you can easily order the change yourself via your customer portal.

I am facing the same situation right now. A vodafone sales representive visited my apartment, asking if I have internet problem. As i was facing a bit of problem with my internet, i allowed him to enter my apartment. I don't speak german. i thought my owner sent him to check on internet but she did not send him. He took my details for the contract which i was unable to understand. I talked to my owner about this and i immediately called him to cancel the contract and he said once the vodafone package is delivered to my apartment he will take it back with him. After that he came and took the package. I thought i have asked him to cancel the contract so he will do that but he did not. Two days back, I received a bill from vodafone for the gigatv box which was for 74.37 euros and it has been deducted from my bank account. Now after 1 month i got to know that the contract is not been canceled yet. I have contacted the vodafone customer care and also send the contact form. I have even posted in the vodafone community forum also. I have contacted via whatsapp also. I hope to get the contract canceled as soon as possible.
