Hello Vodafone Community
Unfortunately in May I lost my job due to Covid-19 and I had to come back to Belgium. I closed my contract with you and gave back my box on 22-5-2020. I received this w-e the rechnungen to pay 19.99€ for July for Internet but I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE!!!!!! (now you asked me for 26€!) So I cancelled the mandat. I looked on the web plateforme and I read that it's still "in process". Can you explain that you need 3 months to introduce in your system that I've had to cancel my contract as I had to move OUT of Germany (definitively)? I refuse to pay for a service I don't have till end of May (we are at the end of July!). How can you please solve the problem?

The German law (§46 TKG) stipulates that in the event of a move if the service is not available, a notice period of three months at the end of the month must be observed. This also applies to moves abroad, so you actually have to pay the contract until at least the end of August 2020.
Have you proven your move abroad to Vodafone, e.g. through a deregistration certificate or certificate of your new home in your home country? Only then does the special termination right under TKG apply.

Hello Williamsf1,
welcome to our community. Nice to see you.
The contract doesn't end on the day of the move. The contract is only terminated three months after the moving date or, if the move has already taken place, three months after notification of the move.
Best regards
Tina
