Changing to a monthly renewal

Hi All,

I currently have cable internet and phone provided by Vodafone. I have had this since July 2016.

I will be moving from Germany in October. I am able to terminate my contact in July.

I will need the internet until October (I work from home). At the same time I do not want to pay for a full year of internet.

Does anyone know if it is possible to set the termination date as end of October so I can cancel without having to pay an early termincation fee?

Hi @Bern90 , I think, it´s possible to cancel the contract to October instead July. Wait a liitle here for a "Moderator", who helps you.

yes it's possible to cancel the contract in October.

If you now send us a cancellation, the earliest termination date is July. But if you want you can cancel to a later date. But it is important that the cancellation reaches us as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply, I have sent over the requested data.

My earliest date of cancellation is "Frühestmögliches Vertragsende:18.07.2020"

I would prefer the cancellation to be 18/10/2020 as I will be moving at the end of October so this gives me change to send the router back also.

Once confirmed I presume that as of 18th October my service will end and I will just recieve one final bill for the month of October.

I plan to close my bank account last October also and do not want to miss any payments.

yes the service will end on 18th October. But you probably won't get the final bill until November.
