Cancellation of contract

Hello,

I would like to cancel my contract. Its not acivated till now. Since my german is not that good. Ma german friend told me that I have stay in the contract for minimum 2 years which i don't want to do. I think I am still eligible to do it. Please, guide me through process to cancel the contract.
