Hi,
I migrated from cable 200 to cable 1000 few months ago. Just now I realise that my new cable max router from Vodafone doesn't have port forward option.
how can I activate it?
I want to use my home VPN, but I need to forward the port to my computer that is behind the router.
After checking the internet, looks like this router doesn't have that option... I am a bit disappointed.
What can I do?

Hi radicalrj,
since I ask why you're using the VPN?

Access to my home files! Access to my home gadgets that are not exposed. Access to my home internet instead of paying for VPN.
It was working before on cable-200

Hey,
did you run our old router in bridge mode and connected your own router to it?

before?
The old modem was not running via bridge... I was using it as a normal router.... and the port ward option was there.

Hey,
yes before.
I've made an exception to change something on your line. Can you please see if it helped?

Hi,
I can see the port-forward option back, and with the correct configuration.
But I am still unable to access it via outside... Tried both ipv4 and ipv6 of my router. I can not reach the vodafona router and also not my internal devide.

It is working now ... it is a temporary fix, or it is reliable to trust on this?

Hey,
the change will remain in effect until the next tariff change.
