Modem keeps restarting

Hello,

Sorry for writting this message in English, but my German is not good enough.

Lately my modem has been having some random restarts, I'm using the internet and out of nowhere the modem restarts itself and takes at least 5 minutes for everything to restart (sometimes even longer).

Can you please help me??

Please tell us what kind of connection you use (DSL or cable= and tell us the name of the modem.

Also please tell us which LED is blinking in which colour. Thank you.

Hi Jens, thanks for answering.

I am using a Cable, and right now no lights are blinking, all seems stable.

I managed to improve the modem, it was having a bad connection due to the wire, it at least is not being turned off anymore. But the speed keeps changing, sometimes it gets really slow, so I guess it is still worth checking.
