Hi Team
I have subscribed to Vodafone GigaTV Cable(from Dec 2019) and from last two months onwards, I was also being charged for Vodafone TV connect option even though I didn’t contractually agree to that option. Can you please have a look and let me know how can I cancel and how to get refund for last two months which were charged incorrectly?

Hi f2003629,
to watch digital TV the basic connection TV Connect is required. During a check it was determined that TV Connect was not yet available and was therefore booked later.

I already have GigaTV cable and don’t need this digital connect. Why I am booked for both? And how can Vodafone book without even informing me and getting my consent?

Hi f2003629,
to use GigaTV you need the basic connection TV Connect at your address. This was noticed in July during an automatic check routine and was then booked. You will find the requirements for the use of the digital additional contracts in the AGB point 2.1.

I have already Vodafone Cable connect for which I am paying monthly fee as agreed when I signed contract. This TV connect is an additional choice and I didn’t agree to it contractually. Are you now telling me that, you can charge me for two contracts when I only signed for one? Why do I need to have two contracts for watching on TV? This doesn’t make sense and the fact that this was enabled without even my acknowledgement makes me even more suspicious on Vodafone part of charging money in wrong way.
I don’t agree to this and want to cancel the contract. What are my options?

i think you got it wrong. Without TV Connect, Giga TV is not possible. Hence the contract. You can cancel the contract in writing at the end of the contract period.

When I signed up, i was being told, i need to pay ~13 euros per month(10 euros for cable and 3 euros for english option). Now, because of two contracts(which was added in deceivable manner by Vodafone), i am paying 27 euros which is close to double the price from what i signed up and clearly a violation of my contract. What is wrong on my side? End of contarct means almost close 18 months of cheating from Vodafone on me.

Hi f2003629,
you want to watch TV, but don't want to have the TV Connect? Unfortunately this is not possible and we can't do anything about it in this case. The one presupposes the other.

I want to watch TV and i want to pay for one contract- either TV connect or Giga Tv kabel connect. Why should i pay for both? Isn't watching on TV a single contract? Why should i have two contracts just to watch TV?
