No DSL connection for 7 weeks

Dear Vodafone Community,

I've noticed that this topic is popular here, so you might be able to help me as well. My situation is the following:
I ordered DSL on the June 25th. On the July 11th I received the email with the proposal to set a Termin. First available date was the 1st of August so I chose it. On the July 23th, I received the email with the request to provide the following information: do I already have Telekom connection at my place, also to give name/phone of previous tenant/closest neighbours. I collected all the information I was able to and sent it via fax from Vodafone store in 2 days. Then, as nobody contacted me till the 1st of August, I called to customer support in order to clarify do I need to reschedule my Termin or can I leave it as is. I was answered, that I can leave it as is and that I will be contacted within the next few days. As of the 9th of August:

- My Order has the following status in Vodafone system:
"We have ordered your connection. However, we still have questions that we would like to clarify personally with you. For this we will contact you. Or call us. We are happy to clarify the remaining points with you by phone on 08 00/172 12 12."

- My Termin which is still set to 1st of August is in "Termin wird geprüft" status

- I wasn't contacted by any Vodafone representative.

Can you please provide me more details on my situation:
- Is my order got stack somewhere on Telekom side?
- Should I reschedule my Termin?
- Is there any way to speed up the connection in my case?

I am ready to provide an additional information.

welcome to the Vodafone Community!

 

According to your description, Telekom can't find the right connection. The question in our letter as to whether a Telekom connection already exists indicates that there is no phone connection at your location.

 

Simple question: Do you have a telephone socket (so called TAE) in your apartment?

Thank you for a quick reply. Yes I have the telephone socket. I attached the photo.

May I also clarify, to be honest, I only need the Internet connection, but phone is included into the package by default. Is it possible to provide Internet connection separately, or should it only be provided along with a phone connection? I am absolutely fine, if I don't receive the phone connection.

Hi Artfisher,

 

A phone conection is always included in our DSL tariffs.

 

Techically it does not make a difference if you use a tariff with or without phone.

I need your name, customer number and the exact location of the phone socket in this form:

 

- Single or multi-family house

- Front or rear building (where is the entrance? On the street or in the backyard)

- storey

- where is the apartment located (left, right, in the middle) or the whole floor

 

All data seen from the street.
