Internet not activated after technician visit

Dear Vodafone Community,

Unfortunately my German is not good enough to explain the situation.

I have made a contract with Vodafone for the Red and Internet Phone 100 DAL. Today at around 11 the Techniker came to install and connect the DSL. Normally at 17:00 the same day, the internet should be activated already. However, until now I am still not able to use the internet.

On the modem, power/DSL is blinking, WLAN is on. But the rest (fon, DEXT, and info) are off. When I go to fritz.box -> DSL information, it says “DSL kabel nicht angeschlossen”.

I have called hotline and they have opened a ticket but said that it can take up to 48 hours to get a response. Normally it should be ok but I’m already having bad experience with the installation (Techniker came 1,5 hours too late for the first visit so I was not at home anymore and had to make another appointment which took more than 1 week), so I would like to use my internet as soon as possible.

I have restarted the modem, unplugged the cable for 30 seconds, and the normal routine but it’s still not working.

Hey tofu21,

i'm sorry that the telecom technician did not set up your landline properly.

But since you've already an active incident ticket - what do you excpect us(the moderators) or the comunity to do ?
This most likely can't be fixed remotly, otherwise we would not have comissioned a technician onsite.

If you have a vodafone mobile contract, i can try to gift you some free lte traffic.

Otherwise i'm sorry - but you will have to wait for the second appointment with the technician.
