Internet cancellation: leaving Germany

Dear Vodafone,

Can you give me the following information on internet cancellation because of leaving germany permanently:

1) Can I email my cancellation it instead of posting it?

2) Where do I post the cancellation letter to if I have to post?

3) You will need the de-registration letter from the Rathaus too, is this correct?

4) After I send the letter with my termination/emigration date what is the cancellation period (how many more months am I paying for DSL that I am not using)?

5) What address do I send the DSL modem to?

Hey ucapajr,

you can cancle your contract online. Feel free to use our online contactformular.
If possible , please attach your deregistration letter.
According to the law, the notice period is 3 months. We usually terminate the contracts at the time you leave Germany as a sign of goodwill.
You'll find the adress on the return voucher which is part of the cancellation confirmation.
