Contract termination problem (moving abroad)

Hi,

 

I am leaving Germany for good on July 15th, but my Phone Internet & WLAN contracts finish on 19th September. I sent a letter to Vodafone's customer service, and the only reply i got was that they are sorry that my contract will end on September 19th...

I hope that it is just a mistake by the customer service team. When I signed my contract a year ago, I explicitely asked whether it would be possible to revocate my contract after leaving the country, answer was yes. I went to the store again a few days ago to double-check, answer was yes. It was the main reason why I subscribed to Vodafone, so now I am quite pissed and do not know what to do as I cannot reply to Vodafone's email ... Any help? Yohann

Are you using a DSL or Cable contract?

If you move abroad and we can't offer you the same tariff , you can cancle a contract early. According to the telecommunicationlaw (TKG) 3 month to the end of the month.
