Last year I was tricked into calling an air company that pretended to be 0800, or free of charge, I had to wait 2 hours to be able to talk to someone and in the end, I lost my airplane and it generated a bill of almost 600 euros.
The call wasn´t even complete, it was falling constantly.
In Berlin, I have talked to many attendants from Vodafone that understood my situation and said they would not charge for that bill. At the end of 4 months, the bill that was not present in my account anymore came back, and Vodafone started to charge me again.
The biggest problem is that this bill that I was misled to believe that was forgiven, was being charged with a higher value. Vodafone cut my number without my knowledge, I had massive problems at work because of that between many other headaches.
Vodafone attendants give wrong information to the clients, because of bad training and because ultimately Vodafone does not care about their clients. To charge someone 600 euros for missing calls it´s totally absurd. At the moment this bill went to more than 1000 euros and I can´t even access Vodafone anymore.
Now I had to make a contract with Vodafone again, against my will, and I´m waiting for a mobile service that did not communicate with me until now. I would really like to enter in a better term and try to find a solution that can be decent for both sides. This week I have called already 23 times and all the attendants did were to give me different numbers to call. Nobody could really help with anything.
Please enter in contact with me.
Thank you.

If you didn't pay for this invoice, then the amount will increase time after time just due to the interest rate and the costs for debt collection. And this can easily increase the amount from 600 € to >1000 € in a year. And the line is also shut down if the invoices aren't paid accordingly.
Vodafone itself has nothing to do with the call or the contents of the call - also if you have been tricked into that call by a third party.
Please also note that free call numbers aren't free if you are abroad -or- if they are not located in Germany. E.g. you will be charged the regular price for a call to the US in case you call a +1800 number even if this number is toll free in the US for US users. Same applies if you are not in Germany and call a German +49800 number - in that case you have to pay the roaming fees for a regular call to Germany - which can be multiple Euros per minute depending on your roaming network operator/country.
