1 gig DSL plan and Internet at only 44 download / 13 upload / 205 ping

I have a 1 gig monthly internet plan. Only 44 doenload and 13 upload on my speedtest, while 205 ping? It seems as is there is something wrong with router as this just started happening on Monday?

in which state do you live, which cable router is used and are your devices connected via LAN or W-LAN?
